Program Consultation

The JSL programme consultation is co-ordinated by

J.E. Rink, PhD, Prof.
(Health care psychologist – orthopedagogue)

De JSL programme consultation aims at introducing or improving rearing programmes in a family, a class or any other rearing group. The most important question here is:

how can in the rearing group those rearing tasks best be stimulated that enable children or juveniles to carry out to the best of their ability the developmental task directed at dealing with social limits?

Introducing or improving the programmes for rearing by means of the JSL consultation means that
the rearing adults’ behaviour,
the daily recurring situations
such as getting up and coming home from school
and the social and material context of the rearing group

will have to be(come) such that those rearing tasks can indeed stimulate that developmental task with the children or juveniles in a proper way.

The JSL programme consultation can be of a preventive nature to prevent (serious) problem development in the child’s or juvenile’s dealing with social limits. In that case the consultation may be offered to e.g. parents or teachers. This JSL consultation can also take place in the curative field and be offered to e.g. professional rearing adults and their managers within the ambulant or residential youth protection such as family guardianship and judicial youth institutes.
Finally, this consultation can be used for the benefit of preparing and implementing policies.

The JSL programme consultation is given on request to individual children or juveniles or for groups. The hourly rate for preparation, execution and report (and clarification if necessary or desired) is € 115.- (VAT not included).
The request should be sent to:
