What does the JSL Foundation research focus its attention on (I) and what type of research is it (II)? These questions will be answered here. Further, it will be outlined what research movement (III) the Foundation's research belongs to and the most important developments within this movement in the past decades will be discussed. Finally we will enter into the research in which the JSL Foundation is at present involved or of late has been involved (IV).
